Safe Gluten Threshold Levels

Dr. Fasano and the U of Maryland Center for Celiac Research submitted a letter entitled "In Defense of 20 Parts Per Million" to the FDA about the proposed gluten-free labeling rule. Another international celiac expert, Dr. Guandalini from the U of Chicago Celiac Disease Center has also commented about the safe gluten threshold level.

FDA’s Gluten-Free Comment Period Closes October 3

Consumers, health professionals, organizations, industry, and others can submit comments to the FDA about the proposed gluten-free rule. Choose the "submit a comment" button from the top task bar, enter docket number FDA-2005-N-0404 in the "keyword" space, and select "Search."
